Cold Weather Rule

The Cold Weather Rule goes into effect from October 15th to April 15th. You will need to apply and be approved by the City in order to be eligible for the Cold Weather Rule. Applications can be picked up at City Hall or printed from the
Forms + Fees section.

The Cold Weather Rule ends on April 15th. Customers who are on a payment plan will be required to pay their bill in full and on time after April 15th.

 


 Dog Licenses

Dogs within City limits need to have a Dog License and are not allowed to run at large.  The fee is $10, and proof of rabies vaccination is required.  Stop by City Hall to renew your dog's license and pick up the new tag.

Winter Parking Restrictions

There shall be no parking on any city street of Pierz from Nov. 1 through April 1, during the hours between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. The purpose of this ordinance is to facilitate snow removal during winter months, accommodate snow plowing equipment, provide operators the opportunity to efficiently clear the streets, and protect the general safety and welfare of citizens of the city of Pierz.
 

Mosquito Spraying

The City sprays for mosquitoes throughout the summer, treatments will occur between dusk and dawn.
